Fly Fishing for trout: Wimbleball Lake, Dulverton, 374 acres, Map ref:
LR 181 960300, This nationally renowned lake is regularly stocked with
Rainbows up to 8lb to ensure excellent sport. There is a good mayfly hatch
in late June/early July. Boats are available, including a Wheelyboat for
disabled anglers and can be booked 48 hours in advance via the angling
and watersports centre. Catch and Release option available barbless hooks
must be used.

A mixed coarse fishery situated at the
southern edge of the Cotswolds in an area
known as
Golden Valley, near Bitton..
The water accommodates 12 anglers on an
advance day ticket basis and is open all
year round,
7 days a week from 7 o'clock in the morning
until dark. The one-and-a-half-acre lake
is stocked with over 10,000 fish, including
Mirror & Common Carp to double figures,
Bream, Tench, Chub, Barbel and Roach.

from the caravan park, the two miles of nature trails.

A family run three-lake fishery with nine
static holiday caravans to the east of Bridgwater.
The lakes all contain a good mixture of carp

silvers. Carp up to 20lb, bream
