Fishing lake and Lodges
Situated near Hockwold-cum-Wilton, just 10 miles
west of Thetford in the county of Norfolk surrounded
by beautiful east anglian countryside and consists
of an 8 acre very clear lake with large grassy
banks for ease of casting.The lake has an abundance
of
natural fly life with a good stock of "hard
fighting" rainbow trout from 2lb up to 12lb
which respond well to dry flies. There is also
a population of brown trout.

Inn Lake
Situated at the rear of the Bridge Pub Lenwade, Norfolk. The lake is very
mature and well maintained and covers some 5 acres. Depths vary between
5ft and 17ft and it boasts many features which include reed bars, lily
pads, overhanging trees and bushes plus excellent margins. Superbly stocked
with over 120, double figure Carp to 25lbs plus large numbers of Tench
to nearly 9lbs. Also offers a lovely stretch of the River Wensum. Set between
2 private stretches quality fish abound. Barble to 13lb, Chub to 6lb 8oz
and Roach to 2lb 10oz.

Burn Valley Fisheries
South Creake Fishing lakes are located just out
side Fakenham in Norfolk on the B1355 heading
to Burnham Market. South Creake Fishing Lakes
offer
a wide range of fishing from the beginner to
the most competent carp anglers. The 3 acre
fishing
lake offers the chance to catch Mirror/Common
carp, Tench, roach, rudd and bream. The biggest
carp
caught last year weighed in at 28.9lbs and some
Bream and tench are now reaching double figures.

Coarse fishing in lakes ponds and drain venues in and around the picturesque
town. Wallington Hall offers old-fashioned estate lake fishing on three
lakes to 4.4 acres containing carp to 20lb. Cuckoo Drain near Stowbridg
offers all the usual Fen drain species and it is renowned for the size
and quality of pike to be caught there. Denver Claypit (1.4 acres) is a
match fishing venue.

Holt Sea
Angling Club
The club was initially established way back in
September 1953, and was originally known as the
Holt Freshwater and Sea Angling Club , then in
1960 it was renamed to Holt Sea Angling Club
and the headquarters was the Kings Head in Holt
although
nowadays the club tends to use the Dunn Cow at
Salthouse. A very novice friendly club and new
members are made to feel at home straight away.
Club
matches are normally held every Sunday with
various Norfolk
venues being chosen. Anyone wishing to join
the club can simply turn up at the venue 1 hour
before
start time and speak to one of the current
members and they will point you in the right
direction.
The club also holds many larger scale opens
for those
that take their fishing to match level
and higher.

ports on the North Norfolk Coastline with many crab boats still putting

Has the fishing rights of numerous fisheries, including the Wensum, 1.5
miles of the Waveney, 2.5 miles of the Bure 1.5 miles of the Upper Yare.
Over the years this led to also taking on the management of numerous stillwater
fisheries. including two gravel pit complexes. Membership to all these
fisheries is available exclusively to NACA members, but is separate to
their association membership fee.

Reepham Fishery
Just outside the historic town of Reepham,
is regarded as one of Norfolk's premier
coarse fisheries having
been established for many years on four spring-fed
lakes and
is heavily stocked - the fishery is renowned
for the quality and size of the crucian carp
(up
to 4 lbs), together with tench to over 6lbs,
roach to over 2lbs, rudd to 3lbs and carp to
28 ½ lbs.

Taswood Lakes
An exclusive, picturesque
and tranquil carp & Coarse fishery Nestled
in the Tas Valley in the heart of the beautiful
Norfolk countryside. Three main carp lakes, Grove,
Heron & Broadwing, all of which are available
to fish on a day ticket. The current Carp record
was set this year on the Broadwing Lake, where
the ghost carp named the ‘lady of the lake’ was
caught weighing in at a massive 41lb 3oz. On the
coarse side, every season, catches in excess of
100lbs
are recorded, comprising of specimen Tench, Roach,
Chub and Bream not to mention the Carp for which
Taswood has made its name.

Taverham Mill
Set on the outskirts of
Taverham, situated approx 5 miles outside of the
historic city of Norwich. The fishery is set in
approximately 100 acres of fabulous norfolk countryside
and boasts 4 lakes and 3/4 mile of the famous river
Wensum. Taverham Mill lake now boasts carp to over
30lb with loads of fish in the 20lb class, this
lake also has some wonderful tench fishing and
specimens to over 8lb are caught each season.
The site facilities include, on site accommodation
in the lodge, the Taverham Tackle Den shop and
toilets.

which are descendants of the original stock.All

Carp (up to 40lbs in weight), Roach, Tench, Bream,
Rudd, Perch, Pike and Eels. There is the spectacular
12 acre Championship Lake (reserved for residents
and club members) which offers the patient angler
some superb coarse specimens including Common
and Mirror Carp, Bream reaching 12lbs, Tench
reaching
10lbs along with Perch, Roach and Rudd.
