The
Dorking Flyfishers Club
The Dorking Flyfishers Club was
formed in 1980, and is this year celebrating its
20th anniversary. Currently there are some forty
members in the club. The Club meets at the Grove
House Club in Dorking on the last Thursday of
each month, apart from a couple of evenings in
the summer when we move the venue to a local fishery.
The meetings at the club are used for fly-tying
practice and instruction from our "experts"
within the club, or, whenever possible, we will
bring along a guest speaker to talk on subjects
ranging from fish farming and fishery management
to tactics and fly selections for particular venues
we are due to fish. |
