Angling on two lakes Hatchet Pond and Jaesmoor Pond in the New Forest National

an abundant supply of just about everything
including catfish to just under 30lbs. It
has been recently stocked with over 2 tons
of fish and with 40 pegs it is an ideal

The lakes take up about 5 acres of the site and are split into 4. All are
connected and the fish have the freedom to swim in any of them. Choose
your peg carefully and do not be afraid to move if fishing is a little
slow on your first choice. The Fisheries were restocked in 1997 (at a cost
of over £10,000) with lots of quality Carp, some of which are now
well into double figures with four Mirrors close to 30lb. Many other species
also inhabit the lakes including Bream, Tench, Rudd and many interesting
hybrids.

The fishery consists of 2 lakes; a larger 18 acre specimen lake and a smaller
nursery lake and a snack bar is open at the weekends.Both lakes are well
stocked with the larger fish being found in the 18 acre lake but there
are still some big fish left in the smaller lake. Rules are simple but
strict. All swims are very accessible, many of which cater for the disabled
via the track around the site. The Carp fishing can be hectic at times
with most baits catching fish, so don't be afraid of putting a bit in because
these fish can eat! The pike feed well in all conditions with sea and course
dead baits working well.

An exclusive, picturesque and tranquil carp & Coarse fishery Nestled
in the Tas Valley in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Three
main carp lakes, Grove, Heron & Broadwing, all of which are available
to fish on a day ticket. The current Carp record was set this year on the
Broadwing Lake, where the ghost carp named the ‘lady of the lake’ was
caught weighing in at a massive 41lb 3oz. On the coarse side, every season,
catches in excess of 100lbs are recorded, comprising of specimen Tench,
Roach, Chub and Bream not to mention the Carp for which Taswood has made
its name.

historic city of Norwich. The fishery is set in approximately 100 acres
of fabulous norfolk countryside and boasts 4 lakes and 3/4 mile of the
famous river Wensum. Taverham Mill lake now boasts carp to over 30lb with
loads of fish in the 20lb class, this lake also has some wonderful tench
fishing and specimens to over 8lb are caught each season. The site facilities

Town Parks is set in a beautiful Devonshire

lakes are part of a working farm which is
owned and run by the Gammin Family. The
fishery currently consists of two lakes,
the Specimen Carp Lake and the Match Lake.
Both are approximately 1.25 acres in size,
and well stocked with a wide variety of
coarse fish. The Carp Lake contains around
250 fish to 30lbs, while the Match Lake
is heavily stocked with Carp and Tench to
around 5lbs, Chub, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Golden
Rudd and Perch. |
