Salmon Fishing

Preserved. The Hermitage Falls lie at the top of this beat. If you are travelling along the A9 it is well worth a quick stop to look at the falls and some of the magnificent trees which grow here. There is a lovely forest walk up to the viewing platform. Salmon fishing is strictly forbidden as the fish can't get up the falls. It is always being watched, so don't be tempted to cast a line!
