Trout fishing on this beat is administered by Dunkeld & Birnam AA. - Fly or bait fished on conventional fly rod reel and line. Adults £1, Juniors £1, weekly tickets £4. One hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. No Limits. Sunday fishing is allowed, but there is no night fishing, Trout under 9" to be returned. 6 anglers per day including 2 available to public.

Salmon Fishing

There is no salmon fishing on the Braan above the Hermitage Falls. These falls are located close to the mouth of the river. The Scottish Office have however stocked some tributaries with juvenille salmon.
