The Pools

North bank of River Lochay & Loch Tay (left hand bank) between NN 572 337 - NN 582 343
The fishings include about 1 km of banks to the River Lochay and 1 km of banks to Loch Tay

Access: Easiest to take the Pier Road (opposite Coach House Hotel) crossing the bridge over the Lochay. Follow this road untill you come to a car park on your right hand side next to the beach where the above photograph was taken.

Trout & Coarse Fishing

Trout and coarse fishing on this beat is administered by Killin AC. Fishing is from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset with no limit on angler numbers and by any legal method. Adults £5/day, Juniors £2.50/day. OAP £2.50/day. Weekly tickets £25.00, £12.50 and £12.50 respectively. Five fish bag limit, all trout under 10" to be returned. Sunday fishing is allowed, but no night fishing. Coarse fishing by arrangement with the club.

Finlairig Farm

The banks opposite the Caravan Park by Finlarig Farm are rather tree lined making casting a challenge.
Also since this backs onto the golf course is probably best left alone!
