Trout fishing on this beat is administered by Perth & District AC. 4 rods are available fishing any legal method. Sunday fishing is allowed. Adults £3/day, juniors £1. Weekly by arrangement. 8 fish bag limit.

Salmon Fishing

Perth & District AA have salmon fishings on Monday, Wednesday and Friday throughout the season from January 15th to October 15th. Fishing is restricted to Members and their Guests. One guest per member is allowed at £10/day (Contact the President)

 

Access:

The upper limit is the Association car park, while the lower limit is marked by a notice board at the burn at the end of the large pool. There is a car park at the roadside at Balnamuir Farm. From September 1st access is by the path and styles leading from the farm. If duck shooting is in progress or the notice board on the railway bridge over the burn indicates it will be, fishing must not start untill the shoot is fisnished.

 

Rules:

  • Dogs, fire-lighting and Sunday fishing are strictly prohibited.

  • When gates are used they shall be left closed and securely fastened.

  • Memebers will at no time trespass on farmlands and crops and livestock and property must not be disturbed.

  • Members must carry their membership cards.
