Trout & Coarse Fishing

Trout and coarse fishing on this beat is administered by Dunkeld & Birnam AA Fly and bait may be used on a conventional fly rod reel and line. Fishing is from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. Adults £1/day, Juniors 50p/day. Weekly permits £5 and £2.50 respectively. No bag limits. All trout under 10" to be returned. Sunday fishing is allowed, but no night fishing. Since this is an important salmon spawning area no coarse fishing is allowed outwith the trout season. All parr and smolts to be returned unharmed. 13 permits are retained by club members while 4 are available to the public. Large parties by arrangement.
