my family and I have, with regret, decided
to close the doors to the public with effect
from 30th September 2009.
“Opening the House to the public on
4th July 1990 in memory of my late husband

place. Countless Halloween parties, summer
soirées, weddings and other family
gatherings have been celebrated. Guests became
friends and have made Kinnaird what it always
was to me – a home. With my 81st birthday
this year, it is time for me to retire, and
as the house is my home, it will join me.
Thank you all for coming, and supporting
my idea of a Relais & Chateaux in Perthshire. – God
