Cottages

Castle Perloch

{short description of image}The magnificent views of the Tay Valley offered by the living room of this charming cottage, set high in the hills above Kinnaird House, make this a many times revisited holiday location.

{short description of image}The L-shaped living room has an open fireplace to ensure cosy winter evenings plus a study with a writing desk and a wide range of reading material.

{short description of image}Nothing was left to chance when the country kitchen was equipped and the adjoining dining area has a door leading out onto the patio, which proves a delightful sun-trap. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom and a twin bedded room, plus a well appointed bathroom.

Craignuisq

This charmingly restored former railway house overlooks the estate village of Balnaguard from its vantage point high in the hills. There are two well-proportioned double bedrooms, both with en-suite facilities, a dining room, a drawing room, a kitchen and a laundry room. Full central heating and the open fireplaces make this an ideal spot for an "out of season" break, whilst the paved terrace overlooking the valley ensures that visitors can make the most of the sunshine.

Balnamuir Farmhouse

Much in demand for family, fishing and shooting parties, this traditional farmhouse features a large country kitchen with a dining area and patio with commanding views over the magnificent rolling Scottish countryside. There are four double bedrooms - one with an en-suite bathroom - a separate family bathroom, a shower room and a downstairs cloakroom. The laundry room and the "boot" room complete the picture of this practical and comfortable holiday location.

Ferry Cottage

It would be hard to improve on the location of this secluded, tree-surrounded cottage on the banks of the Tay. The lawn to the front of the cottage leads directly down to the river, whilst the views across this peaceful valley are among the most beautiful in the area. The well-designed accommodation comprises one double and one twin-bedded room, a living room with open fireplace, a light and attractive kitchen/dining room and a fully equipped bathroom.

Other Cottages

The three other cottages on the Kinnaird Estate are also much in demand. Two cottages - named Ptamigan and Pheasant - are located in the delightful hamlet of Kincraigie. Ptarmigan offers two bedrooms 2/4 people, whilst there are 2/3 bedrooms sleeping 4/6 people in Pheasant.
