For guests wishing the freedom of a self-catering
holiday
We offer first class accommodation either
at Kinnaird or in one of the Estate Cottages.
In order to fish the Kinnaird water from May
to October it is compulsory to stay in either.
All cottages are fully serviced for arrival,
linen and toiletries provided. Each cottages
is given a mid-week service and all rates
are inclusive of coal for open fires and electricity
charges. Each kitchen is fully equipped with
microwave, fridge freezer and all cooking
utensils.
1 Rod on Lower Kinnaird per day is offered to
each cottage let during January, February and
March.

Castle Perloch

The
magnificent views of the Tay Valley offered by
the living room of this charming cottage, set
high in the hills above Kinnaird House, make this
a many times revisited holiday location.

The
L-shaped living room has an open fireplace to
ensure cosy winter evenings plus a study with
a writing desk and a wide range of reading material.

Nothing
was left to chance when the country kitchen was
equipped and the adjoining dining area has a door
leading out onto the patio, which proves a delightful
sun-trap. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom
and a twin bedded room, plus a well appointed
bathroom.

Craignuisq
This
charmingly restored former railway house overlooks
the estate village of Balnaguard from its vantage
point high in the hills. There are two well-proportioned
double bedrooms, both with en-suite facilities,
a dining room, a drawing room, a kitchen and a
laundry room. Full central heating and the open
fireplaces make this an ideal spot for an "out
of season" break, whilst the paved terrace overlooking
the valley ensures that visitors can make the
most of the sunshine.

Balnamuir Farmhouse
Much
in demand for family, fishing and shooting parties,
this traditional farmhouse features a large country
kitchen with a dining area and patio with commanding
views over the magnificent rolling Scottish countryside.
There are four double bedrooms - one with an en-suite
bathroom - a separate family bathroom, a shower
room and a downstairs cloakroom. The laundry room
and the "boot" room complete the picture of this
practical and comfortable holiday location.
Ferry Cottage
It
would be hard to improve on the location of this
secluded, tree-surrounded cottage on the banks
of the Tay. The lawn to the front of the cottage
leads directly down to the river, whilst the views
across this peaceful valley are among the most
beautiful in the area. The well-designed accommodation
comprises one double and one twin-bedded room,
a living room with open fireplace, a light and
attractive kitchen/dining room and a fully equipped
bathroom.
Other Cottages
The three other cottages on the Kinnaird
Estate are also much in demand. Two cottages
- named Ptamigan and Pheasant - are located
in the delightful hamlet of Kincraigie. Ptarmigan
offers two bedrooms 2/4 people, whilst there
are 2/3 bedrooms sleeping 4/6 people in Pheasant.
