in 1980 and based in the Kent village of Lenham
near Maidstone, our friendly beach fishing club
hold regular monthly matches for members. In
addition to the matches, members also arrange
fishing trips amongst themselves.

The club was initially established way back in September 1953, and was
originally known as the Holt Freshwater and Sea Angling Club , then in
1960 it was renamed to Holt Sea Angling Club and the headquarters was the
Kings Head in Holt although nowadays the club tends to use the Dunn Cow
at Salthouse. A very novice friendly club and new members are made to feel
at home straight away. Club matches are normally held every Sunday with
various Norfolk venues being chosen. Anyone wishing to join the club can
simply turn up at the venue 1 hour before start time and speak to one of
the current members and they will point you in the right direction. The
club also holds many larger scale opens for those that take their fishing
to match level and higher.

Sea Fishing
A family-run charter fishing business from the traditional fishing port
of Wells Next the Sea. Wells Next the Sea is one of the few commercial
ports on the North Norfolk Coastline with many crab boats still putting
to sea daily. Due to the excellent facilities at Wells we are lucky to
have Walk on Walk off facilities, so no additional boat trip to the boat.
Target species are Bass, Tope and Cod. Also, we are offering short Mackerel
trips for novices or Mums and Dads to bring the children and introduce
them to the joys of sea fishing. Sunbeam III is fully Insured and Coded
Cat 2 60 Miles.

I is available for a wide variety of charters. These are mainly angling
trips either inshore on the many reefs and sand banks, or Bass fishing
trips in the famous Portland Race with live bait. Also fishes the numerous
offshore wrecks Pollock Cod and Bass. A typical days angling can consist
of a bit of everything that is available. A few hours on the Bass when
the tide is right, going on to the Shambles Bank to have a go for a Turbot
or Brill, followed by Black Breem on the mussel beds. Offshore wrecking
is Big Pollock, Ling, Cod and Bass. It typically takes between one and
a half and two hours to reach the many wrecks which are 20 to 30 miles
from Weymouth where the angling can be very active. Why not come and
give it a go? The day usally starts at about 8am returning to Weymouth
Harbor at about 5pm. Takes up to ten passengers.

UK, the Weymouth Angling Charter Boat fleet is also the largest in the
UK catching a variety of species including Bass, Conger, Rays, Bream,
Cod, Pollack, Ling, Turbot, Brill, Plaice and many more. The fleet leaves
Weymouth harbour every day when the weather permits and almost all the
boats work all year round, The winter fishing at Weymouth is excellent
with Bass, Cod and Whiting on the reefs and some very big Pollack and
Ling on the wrecks.

feet long with a 16 feet beam and is a very stable fishing platform.
Her primary role is to cater for the modern angler who doesn't mind
going long distances but wants to do it quickly and comfortably.
Peace & Plenty carries many angling parties to the channel island
of Alderney and to allows her to make the journey from Weymouth to
Alderney in a short a time as possible. She is fitted with twin Cummins
210 hp Turbo charged diesel engines. She also has a fully insulated
fish room which when loaded with ice will keep your catch fresh for
up to 5 days, This is a very important feature since most of the
trips to Alderney which are held in the summer months and can be
3, 4 or 5 days in duration.
