The shop is run by Chris.
You will find racks of rods, many at special
offer prices. His flies
are very well tied - not at all over dressed.
One wall is dedicated to antique fishing
tackle.
You will find lots of old reels - Hardy Perfects
etc...dating from the last two centuries.
Some
interesting antique lures are also on display
and for sale. |

You
will see lots of examples of the taxidermy
by
Chris. A competent taxidermist for fish is a
rarity these days. Chris is not only competent
- he is
genuinely one of the very best. Not only does
he do salmonids (He did Harry
Camp's 28lb salmon from the 2000 opening as well
as brown trout to 15lb caught on Loch Rannoch)
but also treats coarse species. His mounting
of grayling is superb. For the non-angler
you can
also buy examples of mammals and birds.
Also included in the Shop are lots of crafts.
Chris promotes local craftsmen.
Items such as horn carvings are in abundance. |

This is a place to while away a hour.
If you are looking for a real and lasting memento of
your holiday in Scotland ... look no further ... its
here.
